A training for Trimble R8 RTK System and Geo XH Handheld GPS with post process capability was held for LPK in Port Klang site office from 27th March 2007 until 30th March 2007. The training was attended by a few LPK staffs and attachment students from UITM.
During the training, they were briefed on the background of GPS system and how RTK fits in. They were also given field training on how to operate the equipment on site including the setting up of base station and calibration of control points.
